Now it is starting to look like a house.  It is amazing how much they got done in two days.  Things are moving really fast it is fun watching the progress.

Pre drywall meeting

Pre drywall meeting.

We had our pre drywall meeting today with our PM Mike.  Every thing looked good.We only have one light fixture box that needs to be moved.  Mike informed us they will do an energy star inspection on Monday and then begin the drywall.  He also mentioned they will probably start the siding next week.  He set a tentative date for our final walk thru for June 12th and a closing date for the 14th.  Things are really moving along at a pretty fast pace.

well today we went to move our daughter and son in law into there new home.  While we were there we checked on the progress of our house.  The brick layers were there installing the brick on the house and I was surprised that they finished it in one day.  The piping came for the plumbers to start work on Monday. Things seem to be moving along faster than I ever imagined.

Friday was a busy day at the house they installed the HVAC system and duct work, installed the egress window and delivered the brick for the house.  I also met with Jeff from guardian at the house so he could mark where I wanted  the low voltage outlets installed and the speaker wires for the Bose surround sound system.

We have a roof!!!!!!!!

One of our neighbors sent me this picture of the house today.  Can you believe that they put the trusses and a roof on in one afternoon?  You  have to love the Mennonites. work ethic.

Check out the pictures of my new house things are really moving along. The roof is scheduled to be installed on Tuesday weather permitting.
